The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received from 18-22 May 2026.

Susan Bartell, 62, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away 1 May 2026. She was the wife of David Bartell, a minister at Dove Creek Ministries church of the Nazarene.

Harold Cartwright, , of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 20 May 2026. He was a minsiter who served in New Mexico, and Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Naomi Cartwright

Ruby Fretz, 90, of North Port, Florida, passed away 17 May 2026. She was the widow of Stewart Fretz, a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania, New York, and Rhode Island.

Dwight Kingsbury, 78, of Auburn, Michigan, passed away 15 May 2026. He was the pastor at Bay City Faith Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Karen Kingsbury.

Lyle Pointer, 80, of San Diego, California, passed away 6 May 2026. He was a minister and educator who served in North Dakota, Oklahoma, California, Idaho, Missouri, and Washington. He is survived by his wife, Paula Pointer.

Rosalie Starkweather, 85, of Vicksburg, Michigan, passed away 14 May 2026. She was the widow of Kirk Starkweather, a retired minister who served in Michigan. Kirk passed away in 2016.
