The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received from 11-15 May 2026.

Luis Alcala, 60, of Fresno, California, passed away 5 May 2026. He was the pastor of Clovis Faith Community Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Lucia Alcala.

Tamra Alexander, 81, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away 2 May 2026. She was the widow of John Alexander, a retired minister who served in Colorado. John passed away in 2020.

Florence Bowers, 105, of Wakaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, passed away 1 May 2026. She was the widow of Gilbert Irvine, a retired minister who served in Alberta, Canada. Gilbert passed away in 1981.

Abe Gonzales, 87, of Yakima, Washington, passed away 2 April 2026. He was a minister who served in Washington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Gonzales, who passed away in 2022.

Robert Nooe, 66, of Celver, Missouri, passed away 5 Mary 2026. He was a retired minister who served in California, Washington, Texas, Kansas, and Iowa. He is survived by his wife, Lu Anne Nooe.

Ken Perdue, 62, of Cable, Ohio, passed away 4 May 2026. He was a minister who served in Indiana and Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Beckalyn Perdue.

Alice Ratcliff, 105, of Turlock, California, passed away 6 May 2026. She was a retired missionary who served on the Mesoamerica Region for 34 years. She served in Trinidad and Tobago, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Bermuda. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Ratcliff, with whom she served.

Helen Sabine, 91, of Sabattus, Maine, passed away 7 May 2026. She was the widow of Stanley Sabine Jr., a retired minister who served in Maine. Stanley Jr. passed away in 2015.

Virginia Taylor, 95, of Chapin, South Carolina, passed away 29 April 2026. She was the widow of James Taylor, a retired minister who served in Ohio and South Carolina. James passed away in 2018.
