On 18 October 2025, young people from across the East Asia and Southeast Asia Fields of the Church of the Nazarene came together for an inspiring Online NYI Fellowship. The fellowship opened with joyful praise songs and a heartfelt prayer led by East Asia Field NYI Coordinator Joy Ruan. Asia-Pacific Region NYI Coordinator Sharon Latu shared an inspiring devotion and urged the youth to live out their faith boldly and authentically.

Terence Lustaña, Southeast Asia Field youth coordinator, delivered a dynamic session on Digital Evangelism, challenging participants to wisely use social media as a modern-day missions field. His message reminded everyone that the gospel can reach even the farthest corners of the world with a single click.

Thoughtfully designed to blend fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism, the program was coordinated by Joy Ruan and by the Southeast Asia Field NYI Coordinator Sirinart Phaisanthara. A dedicated team of hosts, translators, and media volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes, providing real-time translation in Thai, Burmese, Japanese, and more, so that every participant could engage fully.

Youth from Thailand, Myanmar, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and two creative access areas joined the event, connecting in breakout sessions to share testimonies and stories of faith. Many spoke of their newfound courage to witness online and their gratitude for meeting brothers and sisters from different nations who share the same passion for Christ.

For Sirinart Phaisanthara, the experience was significant: “It was a blessed time to see young people gathering and fellowshipping together. The messages were both encouraging and challenging, reminding me of the importance of empowering youth to be witnesses for Christ in their everyday online spaces.”

Joy Ruan echoed this joy of collaboration, reflecting, “It was my first time co-hosting an online fellowship with another field, and it felt new and exciting. Seeing youth from all over Asia worship and love God passionately together was truly inspiring!”

Forty-seven participants, including leaders, speakers, and youth from both fields, joined the online fellowship. The event was a powerful reminder that God is at work among young people in East and Southeast Asia.
