More than ten thousand people gathered for “A Smile for Cali,” a special day, where the city witnessed a movement of hope, unity, and service. Amid laughter, hugs, music, and inspiring words, this gathering became a space to share joy, deepen faith, and exalt God’s name over the city.
The joyous occasion featured renowned Colombian comedian José Ordóñez as the special guest. Using humor, José shared a message of hope and reflection that deeply touched the hearts of those present. It was an opportunity to remember that experiences of faith can be communicated using fun rhetoric and that God’s love can heal, restore, and bring back smiles amid life’s hardships.

During the event, distinguished leaders of the Church of the Nazarene were present: General Superintendent Carla Sunberg, South America Regional Director Alessandro Polonio, and Senior Pastor Adalberto Herrera of the Church of the Nazarene House of Prayer.
