Nazarene Theological College South Africa is charged with training and preparing pastors for the Africa South Field. Security and electrical needs are closely related. In a rural setting, we must maintain a high level of security, which includes electrical fencing and 24-hour security presence.
Major electrical repairs have been completed on the campus. However, the electricity supply is regularly disrupted due to planned power outages on a national scale; outages generally last 4.5 hours at a time. The outages lead to loss of internet connectivity, telephone service, and work hours for faculty, administrators, and students.
A backup power source is vital to enable the school to continue carrying forward with the mission. NTC firmly believes that God has a purpose and a mission for NTC South Africa as they seek to expand their scope in meeting the needs for pastoral and leadership training on the field.
