Nazarenes around the globe are invited to join Love Your Neighbor, a service project taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana, 9-14 June 2023, in conjunction with the 30th General Assembly. Early registration is currently open through 1 March. Late registration has been extended through 15 April.

The Love Your Neighbor project will partner teams with local churches in the Indianapolis area during three workdays. The teams will be an extension of those churches, according to Global Work & Witness Coordinator Stephen Sickel.

“We want to partner with the Indianapolis District and the local churches so that whatever we invest in the city is connected to the ongoing work,” Sickel said. “During General Assembly, when we have a lot of reflection inwards, we need to remind ourselves about the reflection outwards.”

Team members will assist in hosting local evangelism events, preparing food for distribution to the community, cleaning up the surrounding neighborhoods, and participating in light construction.

Those who are unable to attend the event in Indianapolis are encouraged to organize a Love Your Neighbor event in their community.
