The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 22 November - 3 December 2021.

Sharon Aarndt, 81, of Willmar, Minnesota, passed away 19 November 2021. She was the wife of Lowell Arndt, a retired minister who served in Oklahoma, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and New York.

Rebekah Adams, 40, of Wister, Oklahoma, passed away 24 November 2021. She was the pastor of Wister Church of the Nazarene, with previous service in Texas. She is survived by her husband, Wesley Adams.

Paul Dowty, 77, of Auxvasse, Missouri, passed away 16 November 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Patrecia Dowty.

Richard Erdman, 92, of Honor, Michigan, passed away 26 November 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Etta Erdman

Emeterio Gomez, 55, of Cartwright, Oklahoma, passed away 29 November 2021. He was a minister who served in texas. He is survived by his wife, Norma Gomez.

Genell Johnson, 85, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away 24 November 2021. She was the wife of General Superintendent Emeritus, Talmadge Johnson, who also served as a minister in Oklahoma, Mississippi, and a district superintendent in Mississippi and Tennessee. He served as a General Superintendent from 2001 to 2005.

Cynthia Jurgens, 62, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, passed away 29 November 2021. She was the wife of David Jurgens, a minister who serves at Sioux Falls Reach Church of the Nazarene, with previous service in Iowa.

Riley Laymon, 95, of Dallas, Texas, passed away 28 November 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Illinois, Kansas, Tennessee and Kentucky. He is survived by his wife, Betty Laymon.

Stephen Rieder, 82, of Warren, Pennsylvania, passed away 26 November 2021. He was a missionary who served on the Asia-Pacific region for 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Irene Rieder.

Kay Romine, 75, of Watertown, Tennessee, passed away 20 November 2021. She was the wife of Doug Romine, a retired minister who served in Illinois. 

Sandra Story, 82, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away 21 November 2021. She was the widow of John Story Sr., a retired minister who served in Illinois. John passed away in 2020.

Ray Taylor, 80, of North Vernon, Indiana, passed away 18 November 2021. He was a minister who served in Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Taylor 

Ruth Wesley, 80, of Springport, Indiana, passed away 29 November 2021. She was a minister who served in Indiana. She is survived by her husband, Robert Wesley.
