Pastor Neil Allenbrand, lead pastor at Penticton Church of the Nazarene in British Columbia, Canada, passed away 30 May from pancreatic cancer. He was 63 years old.

Before serving at Penticton Church of the Nazarene, Allenbrand served in Olds, Alberta, from 1976 to 1977 and in Caroline, Alberta, from 1980 to 1988. On 1 January 1989, Allenbrand began ministering at Penticton Church of the Nazarene, where he served until his death.

Allenbrand received a Bachelor of Sacred Scripture in 1976 from Canadian Nazarene College (now Ambrose University) and then immediately went on to receive his Masters of Divinity from Canadian Theological Seminary (now Ambrose University) in 1980.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Allenbrand, and their four children, Christa (Casey), Josh, Sandi, and Michelle.
