The Church of the Nazarene's Global Missions office recommended nine missionaries for commissioning during the 100th General Board Session, held in Overland Park, Kansas, USA, 23-26 February.

Each of these missionaries has been serving in long-term strategic assignments in diverse settings around the world. The commissioning of missionaries is a recognition of the life and call of the missionary, an indication of the missionary’s willingness to serve the church, and an affirmation of his or her service into the future.

Brian and Julie Woolery have been serving as missionaries since 2010. Brian serves as the pastor of Keystone Nazarene, an English-speaking congregation in Okinawa, Japan. Julie is a teacher at Okinawa Christian School International. Their home church is on the South Texas District. They are being commissioned as missionaries in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Benjamin and Hannah Ponder have been serving as missionaries since 2019. Benjamin and Hannah serve as country leaders in Serbia, overseeing NCM projects and church planting efforts. Their home church is located on the Kentucky District. They are being commissioned as missionaries in the Eurasia Region.

Carlos and Nancy Cordero have been serving as missionaries since 2021. Carlos is the field strategy coordinator of the North Central field, and Nancy is his assistant. Carlos and Nancy's home church is located on the Venezuela Lago District. They are being commissioned as missionaries in the Mesoamerica Region.

Vidal and Marie Cole have been serving as missionaries since 2020. Vidal serves as field Strategy Coordinator for the Anglophone field. Marie serves as the assistant to the field strategy coordinator. Their home church is on the Sierra Leone District. They are being commissioned as missionaries in the Africa Region.

NOTE: The name and information of a missionary who was commissioned as a full-time missionary has been omitted for security reasons.
