Trinidad and Tobago District hosts first mentorship roadmap event

by | 19 Dec 2018

The Trinidad and Tobago District hosted its first Ministry Mentorship Roadmap for new local and district licensed ministers 15 December.

The event was led by the District Intentional Discipleship Committee and sought to provide the new ministers with resources and knowledge on matters relevant to becoming an effective minister of the gospel.

There were 17 people seeking licensing that participated in the event. Discussion topics included the emotional life of a pastor, the spiritual life of a pastor, the pastor's professional development, and the profile of a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene.

District Superintendent Victor George encouraged the aspiring ministers to be faithful to their calling and to work hard towards building God's kingdom. He also emphasized the need for pastors to conduct themselves with professionalism and integrity.

This workshop is part of the district's refocusing exercise and is designed to help nurture future local leaders.
