JESUS Film - Guatemala

JESUS Film - Pakistan

"I have traveled a lot, but never once thought about my salvation," said Michal in Pakistan. "One day, though, the JESUS Film team came to our area, and my family convinced me to watch. When I saw Jesus receiving a beating on my behalf, and His love for sinners, my eyes filled with tears and I began to cry uncontrollably. Now I know Jesus can change the hearts and minds of sinners, because He has changed mine!"

JESUS Film - Uruguay

"One church is in a squatter's community," shared a team leader from Uruguay. "The people there do not have many resources, and the church is small. Its influence, though, is quite noticeable! Recently, they were able to show the JESUS film and several teenagers came to Christ."

Thailand D.S.

Prayer is requested for Thailand District Superintendent Sawat Hahum, who suffered stroke-like symptoms May 17.  He was released from the hospital three days later.

Wayne Larson

Retired missionary Wayne Larson has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and is estimated to have less than six months to live. Wayne and his late wife, Joann, served in Papua New Guinea and Swaziland.

Paty Alvarez

Paty Alvarez has stage 3 cancer and recently underwent tests to see if the cancer has spread. If it hasn't, Paty will undergo chemotherapy. If it has, doctors say there isn't much they can do. She serves at the North Andean Field Office in Quito, Ecuador.

Linda Braaten

Linda Braaten, missionary to South Africa, underwent knee replacement surgery Wednesday, May 6.
