Trinidad and Tobago rally highlights Nazarene Missions
The Trinidad and Tobago District Nazarene Missions International council held its annual mission rally at the Church of the Nazarene El Socorro. The theme was "Nazarene Missions: A movement of God through the people of God."
Three mission methods were highlighted — compassion, evangelism, and education — through videos, dances, and songs. About 120 people representing 20 of the 27 churches of Trinidad were present.
The keynote speaker was Caribbean Nazarene College President Orlando Seale, who highlighted the characteristics of a movement of God. Donnamie Ali also offered a prayer for the nations, particularly for the Bahamas.
The Work & Witness coordinator, Brother Greene, shared about the team's recent trip to Dominica and their plans to go to Bahamas next year.
The district's Sunday School director, Cindy Ann Collymore, led a game called Wheel of Missions (a wheel-of-fortune game) in which the contestants were local pastors: Clifton Dupigny, Kwame Payne, and Rian Williams.
Local presidents and pastors said the event was inspiring, encouraging, informative, and fun.
