The Puerto Rico East District experienced a record attendance of 109 people at the September 10 "The 360 Degree Leader" workshop, presented by Monte Cyr, Mesoamerica regional coordinator for Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries International. The workshop was held in the Casa de Proclamación y Alabanza Church in Cataño.

Pastors, teachers, Nazarene Youth International, Nazarene Missions International, and SDMI presidents, as well as other leaders attended. They were challenged to evaluate and become better leaders in their congregations.

"It reminds us of our commitment to the Lord to continue to be useful in preparing the plans God has for us, our church, and the community where our congregations are," Gladibell Rivera said. "We thank Rev. Monte Cyr and the Mesoamerica Region for their willingness to offer us important information for our development and training."
