NYC 2011 workshop options
Nazarene Youth Conference 2011 - A World Unbroken is right around the corner. Organizers are excited about what God is already doing, and what He will do through this event.
Workshops have long been an integral part of the NYC experience, so it is hard not to get excited when one imagines the students, sponsors, and youth workers exploring and living out the transformational power of God through these seminars.
The goal is that the NYC workshops will help every participant better understand the brokenness in the world, discover effective ways to respond to this brokenness, and participate in the mission of God by bringing hope and healing to a shattered world.
Workshop sessions are on Thursday, July 7, and Friday, July 8, at the Kentucky International Conference Center in Louisville. The participants will be able to choose one workshop they would like to attend each day-no sign up is necessary. Youth Workers also will have the opportunity to attend a seminar presented by Barefoot Ministries each day, where they will take an inspirational look into the theme of NYC and engage practical resources for continuing A World Unbroken in their youth ministry after NYC.
A workshop schedule is available on the NYC 2011 website where individuals can learn about the topics which will be offered, read workshop descriptions, see presenters biographies, and find out room numbers for where each workshop will take place.
Please join NYC organizers in praying for all the workshop presenters and the participants as they work on the final preparations for Nazarene Youth Conference 2011-A World Unbroken.
NYC 2011 will unfold July 5-10 in Louisville, Kentucky. Stay tuned to NCN News, Facebook, and Twitter to get the most up-to-date NYC information.
