The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 4-8 May 2020.

Vaughn Davis, 92, of Colliers, West Virginia, passed away 30 April 2020. He was a retired minister, serving in West Virginia and Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Mary Davis.

Ronald Frizzell, 64, of Wooster, Ohio, passed away 5 April 2020. He served at Wooster Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Frizzell.  

Ruth Harrison, 92, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away 21 April 2020. She was the widow of Paul Hagemeier, a retired minister who served in Kansas and California. She is survived by her second husband, Charles Harrison.

Donald Heitman, 86, of Matthews, Missouri, passed away 3 May 2020. He was a retired minister, serving in Oklahoma and Missouri. He is survived by his wife, C. Raylene Heitman.

Dolores Hurn, 93, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 1 May 2020. She was the widow of retired minister Edward Hurn, who served in Kansas, Washington, Alaska, Oregon, and Colorado. Edward passed away in 2014.

Brenda Johnson, 66, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 7 May 2020. She was the wife of Daryl Johnson, a minister, and educator serving in Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, and Oregon.

Alva Mallory, 90, of Fair Oaks, California, passed away 1 May 2020. She was the widow of Eugene Mallory, a retired minister and educator serving in California. Eugene passed away in 2003.

Donald McCarty, 84, of Sitka, Alaska, passed away 3 May 2020. He was a retired minister, serving in California, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska

Patricia Moore, 90, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away 29 April 2020. She was the widow of retired minister Robert Moore, who served in Indiana, Florida, and Ohio. Robert passed away in 2008.

Madonna Mosley, 85, of Salem, Missouri, passed away 30 April 2020. She was the widow of Paul Mosley, a retired minister serving in Arkansas and Missouri. Paul passed away in 1991.

James E. McGarey, 81, of Port Orange, Florida, passed 2 May 2020. He was a retired minister, serving in Kentucky, Pennslyvania, Illinois, North Carolina, and Florida. He is survived by his wife, Nancy McGarey.

Mafoa Sapini Sr., 70, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away 21 April 2020. He was a minister at Grace Samoan Church of the Nazarene in Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Mona Sapini.

Arden Sickenberger, 92, of Yakima, Washington, passed away 4 May 2020. He was a retired minister, serving in Alaska and Washington. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Sickenberger.

Evelyn Thompson, 89, of Providence, Rhode Island, passed away 1 May 2020. She was the widow of retired minister Edgar Thompson, who served in New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Edgar passed away in 1999.

Brenda Waller, 61, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away 1 May 2020. She was the wife of Thomas Waller, who is the pastor of Clinton Church of the Nazarene. 

Edward Wallace, 87, of Lebanon, Oregon, passed away 4 May 2020. He was a retired minister serving in Washington, Missouri, and Oregon. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Wallace.

Jim Williams, 93, of High Springs, Florida, passed away 4 May 2020. He was a retired minister, serving in Florida and Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Williams, who passed away in 2016.
