The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 22-26 April 2019.
Marilyn Browning, 90, of Waldron, Arkansas, passed away 21 April. She was the wife of retired minister James Browning, who served in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Colorado.
George Cummings, 94, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 20 April. He was a retired minister, serving in Oregon, California, and Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Faye Cummings.
James Farber, 77, of Morris, Illinois, passed away 19 April. He was a retired minister, serving in Chicago, Indiana, and Flordia. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Farber.
E. Ruth Griffin, 95, of Calgary, Alberta, passed away 18 April. She was the wife of retired minister and evangelist W. Howard Griffin, who served in Alberta and British Columbia.
Jewell Hughes, 83, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away 1 April. She was the widow of retired minister Elton Hughes, who served in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and Illinois. Elton Hughes passed away in 2014.
George Petry, 84, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away 19 April. He was a retired minister, serving in Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Petry.
Larry Taylor, 82, of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away 19 April. He was a retired minister, serving in Oklahoma and Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Taylor.
