Early Thank Offering results deemed 'extremely generous'

by | 11 Dec 2015

Stewardship Ministries announced global participation in the 2015 Thanksgiving, or Thank, Offering for the World Evangelism Fund was "extremely generous." Through the gifts and mission commitment of Nazarenes everywhere, God continues to bless ministries around the world.

More than $433,000 has been received, and more gifts arrive daily.

“A gift to the World Evangelism Fund is one of the best kinds of gifts,” said Mark Lail, director of Stewardship Ministries. “These donations allow the Church of the Nazarene to offer hope and the message of salvation to people everywhere. We believe that these gifts will make an eternal difference.”

Stewardship Ministries thanks all Nazarene leaders for taking ownership of the mission and inviting their congregations to participate in the offering. God will show His glory to future generations through the time, prayers, and gifts offered in thankfulness.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
