The Discipleship Place continues to host webinars on various topics. Recently Richard Parrott, professor in the Master of Organizational Leadership Program at Trevecca Nazarene University, facilitated a webinar on “Following God’s Will: A Wesleyan Perspective.” With 577 registrations and 300 in attendance, the webinar was instrumental in helping people think through their soul purpose. Several pastors watched with laity and discussed the content afterward. 

One attendee reported, “The last point made by Dr. Parrott of God working with us to create something out of our suffering really touched my heart and mind. My wife and I just went through the unexpected and sudden loss of our 3-year-old grandson. The suffering and pain have been almost unbearable. Dr. Parrott's words brought tears to my eyes and have given me a deeper understanding of God ‘working all things together'…Let's see what we can create together from this tragedy.”

In 2016, Parrott will lead a series of conference calls for small group leaders to go through his book, My Soul Purpose. Those who email discipleshipplace@nazarene.org and request the free book are also put on the list to be notified of the upcoming conference call schedule to equip small group leaders to go through the material.
