Continued prayer requested for Michigan district superintendent

Continued prayer requested for Michigan district superintendent

by | 26 Aug 2016

Prayer is requested for Michigan District Superintendent John Seaman, who was recently diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.

Seaman was hospitalized last week in Tennessee while visiting family. He has since returned home to Michigan and underwent surgery Wednesday.

That night, John’s wife, Linda, released the following information:

John is out of surgery and in the recovery room now. He is recovering very well at this time. He will be monitored closely in the ICU tonight. The Lord gave us peace as we waited all day to see him come out of surgery. We appreciate your prayers and please continue to pray for John's recovery.

John was elected superintendent of the Michigan District in 2003. Prior to serving as district superintendent, he and Linda served as missionaries to Martinique and Côte d'Ivoire from 1976 to 2003. He is also a member of the Church of the Nazarene's General Board.
