Children's workers focus on security, holistic training at Panama City event

by | 03 Jul 2018

A children's ministry training seminar was held in Panama City, Panama, for Child Development Center country coordinators and staff 27-28 June.

The event trained participants in security policies set in place for children and provided workers with additional tools and techniques to encourage a more holistic approach to child development. Special emphasis was put on practical improvements and possible solutions regarding the quality of services offered to children throughout the Mesoamerica Region's children's ministries.

Dhariana Balbuena, Nazarene Compassionate Ministries regional coordinator, and Dan Brewster, World Vision children's work trainer, organized and led the event.

The Church of the Nazarene's Mesoamerica Region hopes events and training like this will encourage more robust children's ministry programs throughout Panama.
