Nearly 30 volunteers from six churches — three from Nazarene churches and three from other churches — in Argentina, Brazil, Peru, and Bolivia worked together on a Maximum Mission service project to help repair the San Roque Church of the Nazarene in Córdoba, Argentina, 13 July.

“It was lovely to see that not only did the Church of the Nazarene participate in this project but other neighborhood churches joined us in serving the community,” said Edivaldo Júnior, Maximum Mission project leader.

The team was divided into several groups and painted the entire sanctuary, changed its decor, cleaned the surrounding neighborhood, organized a Bible school for children, prayed for the people of the community, and held a worship service at the end of the event.

“It was amazing to see that the neighbors joined us to clean up the neighborhood,” said Andrea Quispe, San Roque church Nazarene Missions International president. “Seeing our example, each brought a broom and joined our group.”

The volunteers showed their strength and unity through the project, impacting not only the church but also the hearts of the church’s neighbors.

“Seeing and listening to the neighbors thanking us for our work was rewarding,” Júnior said. “Even after the end of the event, we continue to receive several testimonies of miracles resulting from the Maximum Mission.”
