Since September 1, 2009, the Church of the Nazarene's Global Ministry Center (GMC) proudly flies a flag each week of one of the many nations in which the denomination is present in ministry. Leaders were invited to send a national flag to be flown at the GMC alongside the flag of the United States*.

The newly created Esther Carson Translation Center in Peru recently completed its first project: translating the Local and District Government section of the Manual of the Church of the Nazarene and other material into the native Awajún language spoken by the Aguaruna tribe.

On Sunday, 7 January 2024, the La Paz District in Bolivia hosted its assembly at the Winchester Memorial Church of the Nazarene where Isai Murga was elected as the new superintendent for the district.

Every year, thousands travel to Encarnación, Paraguay, attracted by the beaches of the Paraná River. As the city began its traditional Samba carnivals, a Nazarene Missionary family launched a project to distribute 150 evangelistic tracts daily.

During the assemblies of North and South districts of Uruguay, new superintendents were elected for both districts. Freddy Godoy was elected in the North District, and Marcos Albini was elected in the South District.

After several months of prayer and subject to the provisions of the Manual of the Church of the Nazarene, Tito Lidio de Jesus Paredes was appointed as the new superintendent. Paredes serves as chaplain of the armed forces of Paraguay and is president of the interdenominational pastoral council of

Ñandemba'e, meaning "ours," is a word from the Guaraní language — an indigenous language mainly spoken in Paraguay. Ñandemba'e served as the retreat slogan for pastors and leaders of Paraguay.

Juan Soto was appointed field strategy coordinator for the North Andean Field. He currently serves as superintendent of the North Central District of Colombia and as a holistic ministries coordinator for Colombia.
