A turning point in history

A turning point in history

by | 29 Mar 2018

This week, most of Christianity will be celebrating Easter. We take time out from our busy schedules to journey with Jesus to the cross, and the empty tomb.

It is in the garden, seeing the stone that has been rolled away from the tomb, that we recognize Jesus’ victory over sin and death. He is not dead, for He has risen!

Resurrection Sunday is a turning point in all of human history and opens up to us the possibility of participating in the life of our holy God.

The Board of General Superintendents invites you to take time to reconsider your commitment to our risen Lord and our participation in His life of holiness. May we embrace the Messiah and His resurrection power, sharing the good news of His life with all who are in need of hope.

He is Risen! He is Risen, indeed!

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
