In 1971, the Stevensons were appointed as missionaries to Bolivia. After serving for one year, they moved to Mexico for a year of Spanish language study but moved back to Bolivia afterward, where they served as missionaries for 12 more years.

In 1984, they accepted a missionary position in Spain, serving for three years before accepting another position in Ireland, where they served for 10 years. In 1997, they moved to Israel to serve as missionaries until their retirement in 2003.

Grace is survived by her husband, Henry, and their three children, Howard, Gwyneth, and Joanna.

Prayer is requested for the Stevenson family.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
