The official launch of the Chamber Orchestra of the Church of the Nazarene was held in the city of Guaranda, Ecuador, 23 June.

The event featured Andean rhythms, culturally popular songs, and worship songs performed by nearly 150 children and youth, all of which are from the 10 churches that the region planted within the last 5 years.

More than 2,000 people attended the outdoor event to listen to the orchestra. Despite the children's lack of resources, audience members were reportedly amazed at the skill the children exhibited.

"[The children's abilities] demonstrated that there are no boundaries nor limits for personal growth and overcoming obstacles," said Latacunga, Ecuador Church of the Nazarene pastor and event M.C. Viviana Perez.

Pastor and international communicator Donizetti Barrios shared a message with the audience. Secular music singer Victor Sao, who received Christ about one year ago at the Cuenca, Ecuador, Church of the Nazarene, accompanied him.

The event featured child musicians from the regions of Bolivar, Riobamba, and Santa Clara, and shared the work that the church is doing in the Serra Centro District with local children and families.
