Dana Snodgrass, pastor of the Paris, Pennsylvania, Church of the Nazarene, passed away December 8. He was 64.

Snodgrass was born October 17, 1951, in South Charleston, West Virginia, to Emma Jean and Sterling Snodgrass. He married Roxianne Daniel July 30, 1971.

Four years later he accepted his first pastorate at the Quick, West Virginia, Church of the Nazarene. Dana later pastored two churches in South Carolina — Florence and Orangeburg First — before returning to West Virginia to pastor the Weirton First Church of the Nazarene. In 2012 he moved to the Paris church just a few miles from home. 

He is survived by his mother, his wife, two sons, J. Mark Snodgrass (Lauren) of Bentonville, Arkansas, and David Dean Snodgrass (Casey) of Camden; a brother, Timothy A. Snodgrass of Poca, West Virginia; and his grandchildren, Paul, Luke, Addison, and Avery Snodgrass.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. December 11 at the Paris Church of the Nazarene, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. December 12. Additional funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. December 14 at the Grace Church of the Nazarene, South Charleston, West Virginia.
