Every year, thousands of tourists come to Encarnación, Paraguay, attracted by the beaches of the great Paraná River. On 6 January, as the city began its traditional Samba carnivals, a Nazarene Missionary family launched a project to distribute 150 evangelistic tracts daily.

“When God put that mission in my heart, I told Him, ‘Lord, that number is impossible,’” Angela Domroes said. “There were a lot of tracts, but the Lord reminded me that for him, there is nothing impossible. I just had to trust and obey. God called us to this mission and equipped us."

Mission GT (GT for Gospel Tract) is based on Matthew 24:14, which says, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” A local Christian store donated all tracts handed out.

Domroes said they asked their Facebook followers to to pray for them, that God would go before them and prepare hearts and minds to receive the gospel message.  This project was strengthened day by day by the people praying for each person's salvation. A total of 1,050 contacts were made with tourists and locals who took with them the only message of eternal life: The gospel of Jesus Christ.

Citing Luke 1:37, Domroes encouraged people to listen to and fulfill what God has called people to do in their life.

"We thank God for what he did in us and through us,” Domroes said. “We encourage you to make the GT project a reality in your community. On certain occasions, there was fear, but the desire to obey the mission was more powerful."
