Diego Lopez was appointed field strategy coordinator for the Western Mediterranean Field on Wednesday, 9 November 2022. He also serves as the district superintendent in Spain.

He went on to earn a theology and youth ministry degree from Nazarene Theological College - Manchester while being placed at Longsight Church of the Nazarene, serving there until 2019.

In 2014, he was appointed as the Eurasia Region NYI Coordinator. In 2019, he moved to Spain again, where he currently resides. He was appointed as Eurasia Region’s NDI coordinator in 2021 and then as the DS of Spain this year.
