Nazarene News compiled the following list of spring commencement reports from each of the Nazarene institutions of higher education on the USA/Canada Region.

Igreja do Nazareno Curado IV (known as INC4) in Jaboatão, Brazil, held its first “Blue Service” 24 April, in celebration of autism awareness month.

The Church of the Nazarene in Guinea-Bissau is bringing light to a local village, in more ways than one. In May, the church’s Project of Light brought solar panels, electricity, and light to the Indena Grande village, located on the island of Canhabaque in Guinea-Bissau.

More than 150 people of different age groups participated in the Ludoteca, games that rely on mental and/or physical abilities and artistic activities to affirm biblical teachings. They were designed to stimulate the physical, mental, and spiritual development of people as well as promoting teamwork

At the heart of Fort Recovery Church of the Nazarene, a missions-minded church in Northern Ohio is two women who call themselves the “Bag Ladies.” They can make a bag from scratch in eight minutes flat and joke that it takes longer to cut the fabric than it does to make the bag.

Families of the Kingdom Ministerial Vision Church of the Nazarene is a church-type mission located in the village of El Guarapo, Venezuela. Recently, a man gave them land to build a permanent church building.

Earlier this month, Northwest Nazarene University announced the appointment of Joshua Jensen as its new dean of the College of Business. Jensen has been at NNU since 2008, most recently serving as director of graduate studies and associate professor of leadership.
