Cindi Schimmelpfenning
Cindi Schimmelpfennig serves as the NDI President of the Chicago Central District Church of the Nazarene on the Olivet Region and is the Pastor of Children and their Families at Kankakee First Church of the Nazarene. Cindi graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 1981 in Education and entered full-time ministry in 1986, pastoring in Indiana and Illinois. She has served on various denominational and district committees for children and discipleship. Her ministry in the local church includes discipleship for children, youth, families, and senior adults. She served as the executive pastor in Kankakee for 15 years before returning to full-time Family Ministry in the fall of 2019. She is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene.
