The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 13-17 March 2023.

Mark Bechtel, 67, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away 10 March 2023. He was a retired minister who served in Indiana and Texas. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Betchel. 

Sharon Davidson, 71, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away 7 March 2023. She was the wife of Donald Davidson, a retired minister who served in Florida, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, and Newfoundland, Canada.

Mary Lou Davis, 77, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away 1 March 2023. She was the wife of Randolph Davis, a retired minister and Chaplain who served in Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi. 

Ruthie Keswater, 96, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away 28 February 2023. She was the widow of Alvian Keswater, a retired minister who served in Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas. Alvin passed away in 1999.

Aline Nesmith, 98, of Oregon City, Oregon, passed away 6 March 2023. She was the widow of Paul Nesmith, a retired minister who served in Oklahoma, Texas, Indiana, Oregon, California, Arizona, and Ohio. Paul passed away in 2012. 

Mark Pennington, 55, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away 12 March 2023. He was a chaplain and minister who served in Kansas and Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Pennington.

Dorothy Reynolds, 74, of Beverly, West Virginia, passed away 14 March 2023. She was the wife of Gerald Reynolds, a minister who has pastored Frank Church of the Nazarene since 1994.

Grayce Simpson, 85, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away 7 March 2023. She was the widow of Edwin Simpson, a retired minister who served in Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, and Ontario, Canada. Edwin passed away in 2015.

Deborah Smiley, 67, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away 10 March 2023. She was a minister who served at Phoenix Maryvale Church of the Nazarene, with previous service in Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Smiley, who passed away in 2005. 

Pat Wellman-Womack, 92, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away 8 March 2023. She was the widow of Donald Wellman, a minister who served in Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon, Colorado, Florida, and Arizona. Donald passed away in 2004. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Richard Womack, a retired minister who served in Oklahoma. Richard passed away in 2018.
