Randy Barrington has been appointed superintendent of the Canada Quebec District. The appointment was made by General Superintendent David Graves in consultation with the Canada Quebec Advisory Committee, USA/Canada Regional Director Stan Reeder, and the Board of General Superintendents.

“I am honored and excited for the opportunity to lead the Canada Quebec District,” Barrington said “As a bilingual pastor, I hope to reach the French-speaking people of Quebec. I appreciate all the support I have received throughout the years, and I look forward to what God has planned for the future.”

Barrington will replace Ian Fitzpatrick, who has been district superintendent since 2013. Fitzpatrick will continue as Canada national director. Barrington takes office on 19 June 2021 and will be eligible for reappointment at the 2023 assembly.

Barrington graduated from Nazarene Bible College in 2011. He has pastored Franklin Centre Church of the Nazarene since 2008. During that time, he served as district secretary, district Work & Witness coordinator, and the district continuing education coordinator.

Barrington and his wife, Brenda, currently reside in Havelock, Quebec, Canada.
