In Memoriam: 20 September 2019

The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 16-20 September 2019.

Glen Curtis, 92, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away 29 August 2019. He was a retired minister serving in Ohio and West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane Curtis, in 2012. He is survived by his second wife, Dorothy Curtis. 

Mary Jean (Taylor) Hall, 83, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away 16 September 2019. She was the widow of retired minister Kenneth James, who served in Iowa. Kenneth James passed away in 2008. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Byron Hall, in 2016.

John Kissee, 94, of Belton, Missouri, passed away 16 September 2019. He was a retired minister serving in California, Colorado, and Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Jane Kissee. 

W. Gary O'Bryant, 78, of Lebanon, Ohio, passed away 20 September 2019. He was a retired minister serving in Kentucky and Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Judith O'Bryant.

Stephen Stamper, 75, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away 13 September 2019. He was a retired minister, serving in Kentucky. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Patsy Stamper, in February.

Alan Willard, 73, of Mannington, West Virginia, passed away 18 September 2019. He was a retired minister, serving in West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Linda Willard.
