 I’m a new pastor or treasurer in the USA. How do I get access to my church’s giving on FundingtheMission.org?

Talk to your district office or give us a call at 1-800-544-8413 or email us at stewardship@nazarene.org. We’ll help you set up a personal Nazarene Account and make sure you have access.

What type of software do you recommend for keeping track of church finances?

If you find the capabilities of your current financial program aren’t designed with church finances in mind, we encourage you to take a look at the following programs.

 

• QuickBooks (we recommend the premier edition)

• CDM+

• Nazarene Treasury System

 

If the church finances are unusually complicated and you are looking for a sophisticated system, you may want to explore options such as Shelby Systems and ACS Technologies.

I have questions about transparency and best practices for records and finances. Where can I get accurate answers?

The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability provides detailed resources to assist nonprofit organizations in these matters. Every Nazarene church has access to EFCA’s ChurchEXCEL, a free resource subscription. We recommend that you explore the site for the best resources on retaining records, compensation data, financial accountability, and more.
