The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 11-15 January 2021.

Dellie Bates-Parker, 92, of Brownstown, Indiana, passed away 16 December 2020. She was the widow of Lee Bates, a retired minister who served in Indiana and Nebraska. Lee passed away in 1971. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Bain Parker, who passed away in 2004.

Richard Bond, 77, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away 9 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in California, Oklahoma, and Kansas. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Bond. 

Carole Caldwell, 79, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, passed away 6 December 2020. She was the widow of J. Mark Caldwell, a retired minister who served in Ontario, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia, Canada. J. Mark passed away in 2016.

Judy Dellepere, 75, of Wauchula, Florida, passed away 9 December 2020. She was the wife of Pablo Dellepere, a minister who served in Florida and Indiana.

Betty Faul, 94, of Flint, Michigan, passed away 13 January 2021. She was a retired missionary who served in Barbados, Guyana, Trinidad, Antigua, and Jamaica. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired missionary Larry Faul, who passed away in 2016.

Hazel Forsythe, 83, of Vicksburg, Michigan, passed away 19 December 2020. She was the wife of Richard Forsythe, a retired minister who served in Michigan.

Nelson Goodlett, 96, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away 13 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Kentucky, Mississippi, and West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Goodlett, who passed away in 2014.

Dorothy Haffey, 84, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, passed away 9 January 2021. She was the wife of Larry Haffey, a retired minister who served in Texas and Missouri.

Harry Miller, 86, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away 1 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Miller.

Billy O'Connor, 78, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 17 December 2020. He was a minister who previously served in California, Oregon, and Idaho. He is survived by his wife, Cherith O'Connor.

Mario Perez, 47, of Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas, passed away 18 December 2020. He was a minister at Glenwood Hispanic Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Mona Perez.

Elizabeth Rich, 97, of Auburn, Maine, passed away 3 January 2021. She was the widow of Albert Rich Jr., a retired minister who served in Maine. Albert passed away in 1990.

Valerie Robertson, 83, of Spokane, Washington passed away 3 January 2021. She was the wife of Ian Robertson, a retired minister who served in Missouri, California, Oregon, and Washington.

Nancy Scharler, 72, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, passed away 4 January 2021. She was the wife of Peter Scharler, a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania.

Bob Viser, 90, of Andover, Kansas, passed away 15 December 2020. He was a retired minister who served in Colorado, Washington, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, and Kansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Viser, who passed away on 1 December.

Robert Worthington, 86, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away 6 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Indiana and Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Garnet Worthington.
