The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 27 September - 1 October 2021.

Harold Altemus, 88, of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, passed away 22 September 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabel Altemus, who passed away in 2014.

Frances Barber, 92 of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 20 September 2021. She was a retired minister who served in Texas. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Barber.

Helen Bolerjack-Norcross, 93, of Independence, Kansas, passed away 25 September 2021. She is a retired missionary who served as a missionary to Papua New Guinea for 29 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Bolerjack, who she served alongside. Ray passed away in 1998. She was preceded in death by her second husband, J.D. Norcross, who passed away in 2017.

Vashti Clarke, 81, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away 22 September 2021. She was the widow of Percy Clarke, a retired minister who served in New York. Percy passed away in 2013.

Gloria Compton, 71, of Crewe, Virginia, passed away 27 September 2021. She was the wife of Jud Compton, who pastors Crewe Church of the Nazarene, with previous service in Virginia and North Carolina.

Herbert Grate, 80, of Tuppers Plains, Ohio, passed away 25 September 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Helen Grate.

Lucille Hudson, 97, of Frisco, Texas, passed away 14 September 2021. She was a missionary who served in Guatemala for 22 years. She was the widow of James Hudson who she served alongside. James passed away in 1994.

Neal Kidney Jr., 75, of Rochester, Massachusetts, passed away 24 September 2021. He was the pastor of Falmouth Church of the Nazarene in Massachusetts, with previous service in Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Kidney.

Robert Myers, 53, of Naco, Arizona, passed away 29 September 2021. He was a minister who served in Arizona. He is survived by his wife, C. Lynn Myers.

Julio Rodriguez Sr, 86, of Compton, California, passed away 27 September 2021. He was a retired minister who served in California. He is survived by his wife, Juana Rodriguez.

Laura Whitten, 69, of Calhoun City, Mississippi, passed away 29 September 2021. She was the wife of Michael Whitten, who pastors Way of the Cross Church of the Nazarene in Mississippi.
