The Board of General Superintendents has declared 26 January 2024 as the effective date for the 2023 Manual of the Church of the Nazarene. Following the 30th General Assembly, the Manual Editing Committee met to work on all resolutions that were adopted (or amended and adopted) by the Assembly. According to Manual paragraph 323, “the revised Manual of the Church of the Nazarene is to be effective in all appropriate languages when the Board of General Superintendents announces the official release date.” Legislation affecting the Manual is now applicable.
