The Epictentro conference, held on 2 October in Riobamba, brought together the six districts of Ecuador for a day of inspiration and training for the expansion of God's kingdom. The conference's objective is to help make disciples by planting new churches.

Juan Carlos Soto, strategy coordinator for the North Andean Field; Esteban Albornoz, holistic ministries coordinator for Ecuador; Rodrigo Olmedo, national coordinator of Church Development in Ecuador, and Mario Paredes, superintendent of the Sierra Centro District, shared their perspectives and experiences in this meaningful meeting.

The conference focused on training leaders, church-planting team members, church-planting stakeholders, and pastors.

Soto explained, "Methods are fine, but the presence of God must be our priority," highlighting the spiritual centrality of any church planting initiative.

Olmedo emphasized the need to offer specialized training to train and develop church planting teams, thus ensuring their effectiveness in planning and executing new congregations.

Albornoz summed up the spirit of the conference by describing it as "a time of reflection, unity, and commitment in which all participants were able to share ideas to improve and advance in the task entrusted to them by God."

The conference attracted 53 passionate church planters dedicated to further developing evangelism in Ecuador. They are encouraged to pray for the country so that more people can come to know the Lord through these efforts.
