In Memoriam Poppies

The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 22-26 July 2024.

Charles Alger, 79, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away 6 July 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Alger.

Sue Boyd, 68, of Haines City, Florida, passed away 22 July 2024. She was the widow of Sheldon Boyd, a retired minister who served in California.

Jefferson Brock, 88, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away 23 July 2024. He was a retired minister who served Indiana and Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine Brock, who passed away in 2023.  

Margie Hinshaw, 85, of Marion, Indiana, passed away 17 July 2024. She was the wife of J. Mark Hinshaw, a retired minister who served in Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana.

Teryl Ketchum, 72, of Lacey, Washington, passed away 19 July 2024. He was a retired missionary who served in France, Martinique, and Haiti. He served as a minister in Idaho, Washington, and Kansas. He is survived by his wife, Kathie Ketchum.

Teresa Sailors, 75, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away 18 July 2024. She was the wife of Jan Sailors, a retired minister who served in Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Kentucky.
