The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 16-20 August 2021.

Wendall Buck, 75, of Elgin, Oklahoma, passed away 15 August 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Missouri and Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Buck.

Robert Daily, 84, of Brentwood, Tennessee, passed away 13 August 2021. He was a retired minister who served in West Virginia, Virginia, and Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Betty Daily.

Mae Kanhai, 87, of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada, passed away 2 August 2021. She was the widow of Roy Kanhai, a minister who served in Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada. Roy passed away in 1990.

William Kelvington, 86, of Gardner, Kansas, passed away 8 August 2021. He was a retired missionary who served in Japan for 12 years, and ministered in Michigan and Minnesota. He is preceded in death by his wife, Emily Kelvington, who served alongside him. Emily passed away in June.

Gerald Martin, 89, of Menifee, California, passed away 22 July 2021. He was a retired minister who served as a chaplain in California.

John Mehaffey, 64, of Newell, West Virginia, passed away 16 August 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Illinois and West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Mehaffey.

Marjorie Ogden, 87, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away 16 August 2021. She was the wife of Lawrence Ogden, a retired minister who served in, Alberta, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia, Canada; Texas, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.

V. David Perkins, 60, of Negoa, Illinois, passed away 15 August 2021. He was a minister who served in Illinois, West Virginia, Missouri and Texas. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Perkins.

Betty Petersen, 100, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away 16 August 2021. She was a retired minister and chaplain who served in Ohio. 

Charlotte Rogers, 90, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away 18 August 2021. She was the widow of Herbert Rogers, a retired minister who served in New York, Missouri, Iowa, and Ohio. Herber passed away in 2016

Leon Maurice Teal, 57, of Trenton, Nova Scotia, Canada passed away 14 August 2021. He was the pastor of Trenton Church of the Nazarene since 2005. He is survived by his wife, Diane Teal.

Larry Thomas, 82, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away 16 August 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kansas, and Iowa. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Thomas.

Roy Thompson, 89, of Adrian, Georgia, passed away 18 August 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Georgia and Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Thompson.

Jane Tone, 80, of Columbia, Kentucky, passed away 9 August 2021. She is the widow of Charles Tone, a retired minister who served in Indiana, Kentucky, Iowa, Illinois, and Ohio. Charles Tone passed away in 2017.
