President Corlis McGee was recently re-elected to a second four-year term at Eastern Nazarene College (ENC) with an overwhelming vote of confidence by the ENC Board of Trustees.

"The Board of Trustees continues to be proud of the leadership provided by President McGee, especially in these days of economic challenges," said Kenneth Mills, chair of the Board of Trustees. "Her focus continues to be on developing a strong base financially and institutionally for a promising future of Eastern Nazarene College."

McGee is the 13th president of ENC and first came to office in 2005. She is the first female president of a Nazarene college in the U.S. From July 1999 to her arrival at ENC, McGee served as rector of European Nazarene College in Büsingen, Germany. Previously, she served as dean of Graduate Studies at Point Loma Nazarene University and vice president for Academic Affairs and dean at MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU). Before her assignment as vice president, she started the master of business administration program at MNU and chaired the division of business administration, drawing on 13 years of teaching experience and three years as chair of the Department of Business and Economics at Trevecca Nazarene University.

She has served as a member of the board of commissioners for the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs and as a member of the International Board of Education of the Church of the Nazarene. She continues as a member of the board of directors for Nazarene Publishing House and the Nazarene Foundation Board.

McGee has a doctor of arts in economics from Middle Tennessee State University, a MBA from the University of Tennessee, and a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Trevecca Nazarene University.
