The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 21 November - 2 Decemeber 2022.

Jean Alfred, 80, of Clinton, Massachusetts, passed away 25 November 2022. He was the husband of Paula Alfred, who pastors Belmont Haitian Church in Belmont, Massachusetts. 

Wayne Brown, 76, of Sebring, Florida, passed away 1 December 2022. He was a retired district superintendent, leading the Northern Michigan District from 2002-2015. He also served as a minister in New Mexico, Arkansas, Michigan, Texas, Tennessee, and Florida. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Brown. 

Orbin Crouch, 76, of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away 28 November 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Iowa, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Dorothy Farrand, 93, of Pinedale, Wyoming, passed away 18 November 2022. She was the widow of Donald Farrand, a retired minister who served in California. Donald passed away in 2020.
Troy Finney, 61, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away 30 November 2022. He was a minister who served in Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Donita Finney.

Keith Knaak, 72, of Craig, Missouri, passed away 28 November 2022. He was a minister who served in Missouri. He is survived by his wife Verdie Knaak. 

Alice Hunter, 90, of Rocklin, California, passed away 13 November 2022. She was a missionary who served in Trinidad & Tobago from 1966-1975, and Israel from 1975-1984. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin Hunter, who she served alongside. Merlin passed away in 2019. 

David Mitchell, 90, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away 23 November 2022. He was a minister who served at Shoals Church of the Nazarene in Indiana, with previous service in California and Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Norma.

Barry Nyberg Sr, 74, of Wartburg, Tennessee, passed away 23 November 2022. He was a minister who served in Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Nyberg, who passed away in 2017.

Linda Tharp, 71, of Street, Maryland, passed away 19 November 2022. She was the wife of Noah Tharp III, who pastors Bel Air Church of the Nazarene in Maryland, with additional service in Pennsylvania and New York.
