Three months into the war in eastern Europe, Nazarenes have responded compassionately to those who have been displaced and are seeking refuge both within Ukraine and around the globe.

Nazarene churches and leaders are showing compassion and hospitality to communicate the presence of God in a time of upheaval as the crisis escalates in Ukraine.

Nazarenes from six different countries on the Eurasia Region came together to teach English and minister at a children’s camp in Poland in an expression of cooperation and partnership.

Lena, Nidal, and their son Rafi escaped war-torn Syria with hopes of immigrating to Germany. After stopping in Poland, they found a home there, and Rafi’s call to ministry became clear to him. Lena and Rafi have now started two Arabic-speaking churches in Poland.
