The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 28 February - 4 March 2022.
Mary Bloom, 75, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away 15 February 2022. She was the wife of Byron Bloom, a retired minister who served in Australia, Iowa, South Carolina, Illinois, Minnesota, Georgia, and Indiana.

Florence Carey, 101, of Mitchell, Indiana, passed away 27 February 2022. She was the widow of Frank Canada, a retired minister who served in Indiana. Frank passed away in 1978. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Everett Carey, who passed away in 2004.

Virginia Hicks, 90, of Paonia, Colorado, passed away 14 February 2022. She was the widow of Donald Hicks, a retired minister who served in Colorado. Donald passed away in 1995.

A. Paul Metellus, 73, of Belle Glade, Florida, passed away 25 February 2022. He was a minister who served in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Leona Metellus.

Larry Parsons, 80, of Walker, Kentucky, passed away 19 February 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Parsons.

Terence Patterson, 83, of Monett, Missouri, passed away 24 February 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Oklahoma and Missouri. He is survived by his wife Joyce Patterson.

Judith Stapleton, 80, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away 26 February 2022. She was a retired minister who served in Texas and Pennsylvania. She is the widow of Chalmer Wiegman, a retired minister with whom she served alongside. She is survived by her second husband, Arthur Stapleton.

David Shaw, 65, of Richland, Missouri, passed away 23 February 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Ohio, Maine, New Jersey and Prince Edward Island, Canada. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie Shaw, who passed away in 2018.

Elva Terry, 83, of Pendleton, Oregon, passed away 12 February 2022. She was the widow of David Parker, a retired minister who served in Washington and Oregon. David passed away in 2003. Elva is survived by her second husband, Carl Terry.

Herman Whitby, 83, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away 20 February 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Whitby, who passed away in 2020.
