Administrative Assistant (Full-time)
Local Church Ministries (NDI, NMI, NYI)
Description: The Local Church Ministries office is comprised of Nazarene Discipleship International, Nazarene Missions International, and Nazarene Youth International teams. The administrative assistant will facilitate communication and day-to-day functioning of these respective ministries. He or she must be highly organized, attentive to detail, and possess engaging interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include various administrative tasks, data collection, and regular communication with local and district leaders.
Benefits Technician (Full-time)
Pensions & Benefits USA
Description: P&B is seeking a highly motivated, organized individual to assist in the processing/review of all benefit plans administered by Pensions and Benefits USA and Pensions and Benefits—International. Principal job duties include various customer service tasks such as benefit application processing, benefit distributions, and other service requests. This person will also assist with coordinating and completing cyclical and annual focus projects as needed.
Building Maintenance & Storage Coordinator (Full-time)

Description: This person will be responsible for carrying out duties related to facility maintenance as well as management of underground storage space and inventory. Principle responsibilities also include room set-ups for meetings/events, freight delivery, and facilitating furniture system and workspace adjustments, as needed.
Global NYI Convention Assistant (Full-time, temporary)
Description: This individual will assist the Global NYI team in the planning and preparation of the 2023 Global NYI Convention. Duties include managing delegate details in collaboration with regional leadership, attending internal meetings for convention coordinators, and assisting with the logistics of the event.
Mobilization Program Assistant (Full-time)
Global Missions Engagement & Equipping
Description: This individual will be responsible for managing tasks related to the mobilization of short-term missions teams and long-term missionaries. He or she will work independently and with the office team in performing a wide variety of administrative responsibilities requiring high confidentiality.
NYI Events Program Assistant (Temporary; flexible part- to full-time hours)
USA/Canada Regional Office NYI
Description: This person will assist the USA/Canada NYI team with coordination of programs and events, including Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC) to be held July 5-9, 2023. Duties will include assistance with event promotion, registration, housing, exhibits, food and beverage orders, social media, volunteer personnel, programs, and other elements as needed. This position is temporary through September 2023.
Office Assistant (Part-time)
COMPASS Initiative – USA/Canada Regional Office
Description: This person will provide administrative support to the COMPASS Initiative team. Key responsibilities include communication with program participants and overseeing the application process, tracking and reporting expenditures, as well as management of program resources.
Sr. Accountant (Full-time)
Global Treasury Services
Description: This person will participate in the daily functions of the Global Ministry Center accounting team. Essential operations include, but are not limited to, accounts payable, investments, fixed assets, banking, annual audit, and deferred giving.
Sr. Executive Assistant (Part-time)
Global Education & Clergy Development (GECD)
Description: This person will assist the GECD director and Global Education administrative coordinator in administrative responsibilities essential to the Global Education office. Responsibilities include interaction with global education leaders, maintaining accurate records on Nazarene educational institutions, as well as assisting with meeting and travel arrangements. This position requires familiarity with technology, attention to details, and occasional travel.

The GMC is the administrative hub for the Church of the Nazarene denominational ministries in 164 world areas. The GMC is conveniently located in Lenexa, Kansas, with easy access to I-35 and I-435 and within short driving distance to Kansas City International airport. All GMC positions report to this location.

Our Human Resources Office receives and processes many employment applications annually for a limited number of positions.
