Timothy Award Recipients

Bill has been a strong supporter of local, district, and field NYI. He's been devoted to teaching Sunday School for NYI and mentoring and tutoring at the local public schools.

Reverend Ben Conyers embodies a life of sacrifice and service to the kingdom of God. For over 20 years, he's been devotedly serving in youth ministry at Crossroads Tabernacle, having impacted hundreds of inner city youth for Christ.

Through Lori’s tireless efforts and deep devotion to Quizzing our district quizzing ministry has thrived, including during the pandemic! She has used her gifts, talents, and passion for God’s Word to help hundreds of students come to hide God’s Word in their hearts.

"Sharon is an example of someone who is in it for the long haul with students and understands the importance of long-term discipleship. Her influence is evident in her continued love and care for teenagers."

"Ron's leadership and sacrifice during missional activities, how he would often be an ear for the youth to share their problems and concerns. They knew he loved God and he loved them". 

George has served continually in youth ministry for the last thirty years. From his involvement and leadership at Camps to local, district, and regional involvement, he was always been willing to serve! He loves Teen ministry!

Diana served our district for many years (beyond 10 years). Young people were drawn to her. She wanted nothing more than for them to know the love of God and follow Jesus. 

Claudia served NYI for more than 20 years as a council member and president on the local and district level, mobilizing thousands of youth in starting new churches, discipling children, youth, and adults, and saying yes to a missions call.

Maria served at local NYI for more than 30 years, as a council member on the local and district level. She has passionately equipped and mentored dozens of youth setting an example in radical obedience to God’s call.

Loman was such a huge asset to our youth ministry team. His heart for young people was incredible. He cared deeply for every student who walked through the doors of our church and our youth ministry.

Jim really shines when he is working with young people, including the complicated, broken, dysfunctional, messy stuff. He has been faithful, consistent, and passionate in his love for young people and to God.
