Nazarene Bible Institute Association celebrated the graduation of 66 people December 3 at Guatemala's Central Coban Church of the Nazarene. Nine of the graduates received Christian ministry degrees, 38 earned diplomas in Christian ministry, and 19 graduated from the leadership school.

Students dedicated the ceremony to North Verapaz District Superintendent Danilo Rene Solis Galvan in recognition of his 49 years of pastoral ministry.

Just one week earlier, on November 27, the Mexico West District graduated 25 students who received a Certificate in Youth Ministry from Nazarene Seminary of the Americas in partnership with the regional Nazarene Youth International. This first class in Guadalajara dedicated their achievements to Milton Gay, youth academy director and NYI regional coordinator.

On behalf of her fellow students, valedictorian Raquel Zambrano thanked God and each of the instructors who invested their lives and time in the students.

Earlier this year, a group of students in Monterrey earned youth ministry certificates, making a total of 44 youth ministry leaders in 2015 in Mexico.

“On behalf of the Regional NYI Youth Ministry Academy, we want to thank Mexico FSC Dr. Jorge Cordova for his extraordinary support, believing and raising a new generation of pastors specialized in youth ministry,” said Odily Diaz, Mesoamerica Regional Youth Ministry Academy coordinator.
