Christmas message to the Church of the Nazarene

Christmas message to the Church of the Nazarene

by | 11 Dec 2015

This season of the year gives us a special opportunity to share the unique message of the Christian faith with the world. Declare it with us again and hear the wonder of the invitation:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life," John 3:16, NIV.

Many individuals in our world are separated by social and political differences, strife, and hatred. Others feel lost and lonely; some have no hope in their hearts. We must share the good news, “For God so loved the world that he gave …” We have much to celebrate this Christmas season because we have received God’s extravagant love.

God is the very definition of love. His most loving gift to our world was His Son, Jesus Christ (1 John 4:8–10). For the past 2,000 years, Christians have been sharing this message of God’s love. May we continue to be His messengers of love to all who need to know Him.

"Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another," 1 John 4:11, NIV.

Caption
