The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 25-29 January 2021.

Willodene Agnew, 74, of Watertown, Tennessee, passed away 25 January 2021. She was a minister who served in Tennessee. 

James Bateson, 79, of Ashland, Ohio, passed away 20 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Bateson.

Terry Berry, 57, of Russellville, Kentucky, passed away 22 January 2021. He was a minister at Bowling Green First Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Tina Berry.

John Hanyak, 66, of Willow Spring, North Carolina, passed away 17 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is survived by his wife, Susan Hanyak.

Hazel Headman, 83, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away 14 January 2021. She was the wife of Louis Headman, who pastors Ponca Indian Church of the Nazarene. 

Mark Hendrickson, 71, of Anaheim, California, passed away 7 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in California. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hendrickson.

Charles Jenkins, 63, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away 21 January 2021. He was the husband of S. Dianne Jenkins, a minister at Charlotte Trinity Church of the Nazarene.

Bill Kitchen, 93, of Green Valley, Arizona, passed away 14 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Montana, Wyoming, Minnesota, Idaho, and Oregon. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Kitchen.

Lazure Mathurin, 83, of Hyde Park, Massachusetts, passed away 11 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife, Eve Mathurin.

Thomas Nees, 83, of Arnold, Maryland, passed away 24 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Kansas, Washington, California, Ohio, and Washington, D.C. He also served as director of the USA/Canada Mission/Evangelism department (now USA/Canada Region) and as Nazarene Compassionate Ministries director for the USA and Canada. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Nees.

Robert Stewart, 83, of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away 25 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Stewart.

Alvis Taylor, 94, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away 22 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Flora Taylor.

George Tucker, 93, of Walton, Kentucky, passed away 26 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Texas and Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Tucker, who passed away in 1997.

Jack Weller, 92, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 27 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Oregon and Idaho. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Weller.
