In Memoriam: 31 March 2017
The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 27-31 March 2017.
Charles Ashley, 87, of Murrieta, California, passed away 27 March. He was a retired minister, serving in California. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ashley, in 2008.
Armellia (Strimel) Beyer, 100, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away 2 March. She was the widow of retired minister Henry Beyer Jr., who served in Louisiana. Henry Beyer Jr. passed away in 2000.
David Brooks, 66, of Alto, New Mexico, passed away 29 March. He was a retired minister, serving in New Mexico. He is survived by his wife, Linda Brooks.
Dwight Neuenschwander, 86, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away 28 March. He was a retired minister, educator, and missionary, serving in Kansas, Colorado, and New Zealand, as well as leading the Nebraska District. He is survived by his wife, Eula Mae Neuenschwander. R. Alan Granat, 63, of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away 23 March. He was a retired minister, serving on the New Mexico District. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Granat.
Dan Hively, 66, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away 18 March. He was a retired minister, serving in Alabama and Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Hively, in October.
Juanita (Dalton) Watson, 90, of Lebanon, Ohio, passed away 18 March. She was the wife of retired minister Roy Watson, who served in Ohio.
